Today in Clarke art students made cute characters as paper puppets.
Today at Clarke art students drew chalk and oil expressive self-portraits inspired by Canadian artist Sandra Silberzweig, using analogous colors (groups of three colors that are next to each other on the color wheel) and patterns.

Today for Fibonacci day students created accordion books filled with spirals inspired by the golden spiral discovered by Fibonacci in 1202. Based on the relationship of numbers on a scale or sequence the golden spiral is considered classically to have the most pleasing ratio, known as the golden ratio.

Today at Clarke Art students painted the Blue Dog, the beloved pet of contemporary artist George Rodrigue. Although the painting was inspired by Cajun ghost stories, blue dog with his amazing yellow eyes came to symbolize “good”.
