Angela Clarke, artist and educator.

Ranging from large scale murals to detailed studies, Angela Clarke’s work is on exhibition at Dublin Airport and on board Irish Ferries. These unique works of art have become part of the fabric of schools, business and private homes throughout Ireland as well as being exhibited in numerous group exhibitions. Clarke’s passion for painting and drawing was developed at the Dublin Institute of Technology where she received a first-class honours Degree in Visual Communications in 1990.

Since then, she has worked successfully as a full-time professional artist and illustrator. Since 2008, Angela has been increasingly active as a teacher, mentor and coordinator of art in her local area, working with local schools and community groups.

Angela has run Puppet-making camps in several Post-Primary schools. She has been involved for several years in co-ordinating the local Community Games Art and has had many successful students at local and national level in Community Games, Sightsavers Junior Painter Awards, Doodle 4 Google, Texaco Children’s Art and other national art competitions.

Angela Clarke grew up in Co. Louth. She now lives and works in Meath with her husband, four children and three dogs.

In 2017, Angela received a first-class honours Professional Masters in Art and Design Education from NCAD.
