Narrative to prompt drawing from mind for imagination and visualisation.
Research Statement:

Inspired by the work of Maxine Greene, an action-research project was conducted within the classroom to investigate whether narrative, used as a prompt, can facilitate the art student’s ability to access and stimulate imagination and visualisation drawing skills, enabling the student to imagine, create and express ideas. This research explored how teachers can mediate, scaffold and motivate students to achieve desired outcomes.
